8GB Google Nexus 7 now listed as 'in stock' on Google Play

We've seen the availability of the Nexus 7 go from 'coming soon', to 2-3 weeks, then 3-5 weeks, but now a quick look at the ordering page for the 8GB Nexus 7 shows you it's sitting in stock, and will be delivered in 3-5 business days. Android fans in the US have been a bit rabid about not getting their tablets when they expected to get them, but demand has seemingly outweighed availability and many, like Phil, are waiting and waiting for a delivery date. Hopefully, this is a sign that the 8GB version will soon be in the hands of all who ordered. Now we need to see the same for the 16GB version.

In a week or two, when all the smoke has cleared, all us "early adopters" will be using and enjoying our Nexus 7s. I've been lucky enough to have mine for a while, and it's quickly become my go-to device for most things. For gaming, web surfing, or reading, the Nexus 7 fits my lifestyle perfectly. I can't wait to see other folks telling me how their Nexus 7 does the same for them.

 Thanks for the tip, Jasmin!
