Best Wireless Chargers for Galaxy Note 8 in 2022
Samsung has been perfecting wireless charging since 2015, and the Galaxy Note 8 carries on that tradition. The phone has fast wireless charging that allows it to charge at up to 10W, and Samsung's own Fast Wireless Charger is a great way to wirelessly charge the phone. There are lots of other options available if you want to save some cash.
Best overall
Samsung's own fast wireless charging pad is the best option for the Galaxy Note 8. It has a built-in fan that keeps things cool, and the status LED at the front that gives you a visual indicator of the charging status. You can use it as a mat or a prop it up to turn it into a charging stand, and best of all you get a dedicated fast charging wall plug along with the wireless charger.
Budget favorite
Anker has made a name for itself for its high-quality accessories, and its charging mat is no exception. It delivers a 10W output and has an LED ring around the mat that provides a visual charging indicator. The non-slip surface ensures your device stays on the mat, and for what it costs, you're getting great value. Do note that you don't get a wall plug in the box.
Classic design
If you don't want to buy Anker, Samsung's first-gen wireless charging pad is still a pretty decent choice. It's a basic charging mat that lets you top up your phone at 7.5W, and there's a multicolored halo for the charging status. Like the newer charging mat, it also comes bundled with a fast charging wall plug.
Stand out
iOttie's iON wireless charging pad stands out because of its unique fabric finish, and it is available in several color options. There's an anti-slip ring in the middle to ensure your phone doesn't fall off, and the charger goes up to 10W for the Note 8. It charges over USB-C, and while you get a cable, there's no wall plug in the box.
More for less
RAVPower's charging pad is the most affordable option on this list, but it isn't short on features. You get 10W fast wireless charging, there's an LED indicator at the front, and an anti-slip band on top to ensure your phone stays in place. You're not going to find many wireless chargers that offer more for this little money.
Charge everything
If you have a Gear S3 or recent Samsung smartwatch and want to charge it alongside your Galaxy Note 8, Samsung's dual charging pad is a great solution. You can also charge two devices simultaneously, and there's a built-in fan that ensures your devices don't heat up. It charges each device at up to 7.5W, marginally less than the 10W that you get with the single charger.
Plenty of great options to choose from
Why you can trust Android Central
You're not exactly hurting for choice when it comes to wireless chargers these days. Samsung's own Fast Wireless Charger is the perfect pick for your Galaxy Note 8 as it manages to deliver 10W charge and has a built-in fan to manage the thermals. Furthermore, you can use it in two configurations, and the leather finish makes your device stay in place.
But if you're looking for a more affordable option, look to Anker's PowerPort 10W Charging Pad or the RAVPower 10W Fast Wireless Charging Pad. The latter option is particularly enticing as it costs just $13. Samsung's older Wireless Charging Pad is also a great bet as it comes with a bundled wall plug.
