Remember the Acer phone with the massive 4.8-inch screen? There's a good possibility not, but we first went hands on with the device at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and things have been a little quiet since it appeared at the FCC in April.
Now though, according to the official Facebook page of Acer Germany, the device is slated to launch some time in September for €499 ($710). The device page is live on Acer's official site, but with no information on price and availability.
Back at MWC the specs were pretty tasty, but as time has passed it by and the smartphone world is populated by dual core super phones, will the Smart still be able to cut it?
No word as yet on availability in other countries, but if you like to get your mobile movie viewing on, this could still be worth a look.
Check out our initial hands on video after the break.
