Eight U.S. carriers and several other retailers have all signed on to sell at least one of the two newest phones from Samsung.
[custom:mwc15]It wouldn't be a Samsung flagship release without heavy backing from carriers and retailers in the U.S., and we have all of the information Samsung has released up to this point when it comes to buying the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. The global release date for the phones is April 10, officially, but we know that date can waver depending on where you go to buy.
In all you'll be able to visit five postpaid carriers and three prepaid carriers to get at least one of the devices, while all of the most popular online and physical retailers will also have them for sale. Want to know where you can buy the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge? We have you covered.
As you would expect, Samsung has partnered with the top five carriers in the U.S. to release both the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular are all on board to sell the devices. Of course what we don't know is which colors and storage options will be available from each.
Further, three of the leading U.S. prepaid carriers are signed on for the launch. Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless and MetroPCS have all committed to carry just the Galaxy S6 — reserving the S6 edge for the postpaid carriers.
Beyond the carriers, a whole host of online and physical retailers are going to carry both new devices. Naturally any Samsung Experience Shop will be able to sell you one, but you'll likely have a better shot to get one at Best Buy, Amazon, Costco, Sam's Club, Target and Walmart.
As individual retailers update us with official pricing and release dates for their stores, we'll be coming back to update this post with the new information.
