Street Scenes

Take a look at your street, and share what you see

We just wrapped up another successful weekly photo contest, cooking, with a bunch of fantastic entries, and now it's time to do it again. We like to follow a broad prompt with our weekly photo contests so that as many people as possible can participate. This week we're going with "street scene" photos, and considering that everybody lives on a street of some sort, we know everyone can enter!

Entries this week will be put in the running to win a glorious mystery box of AC swag. Stuff you can't get any other way, and it's all very cool. You want this.

Entering is easy. Just drop your entry in a forums post at the link below. Tell us what Android you used to get the picture, and any back story you want to add to it. We'll pick a winner Tuesday (March 11) night at 11:59 PM ET, and announce them on the blog with next Wednesday's contest.

Enter this week's photo contest

  • Pictures must be taken with an Android device
  • Pictures must be uploaded to the contest thread. I'm not running all over the Internet to track them down.
  • You have to tell us what device you used to take the picture, and any special software you might have used. Editing your pictures is fine — this is art.
  • You must have used a valid email address to register here at AC, so I know how to contact the winner.
  • Only one entry per week per person.

Good luck, everyone!

Weekly Photo Contest: Street Scenes

Jerry, Tuesday, February 25th has come and gone.

"We'll pick a winner Tuesday (February 25) night at 11:59 PM ET, and announce them on the blog with next Wednesday's contest."

If you look at Jerry's picture at the end of the post, one of the icons next to that picture is the one you click on to send him Email. That's probably a better way to report things like this rather than cluttering up the thread.

Quick question about the photo contests in general, and maybe I missed the rules / guidelines, but are there any restriction to the contests, other than the photo needs to be taken with an Android device? Can a picture that was took lets say a year ago, be used?

Thanks
