Verizon is now beginning to push the monthly security patch for December to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. Samsung committed to pushing out security updates monthly, and so far has done a great job at keeping its promise. While this update doesn't bring Marshmallow to the phone just yet, security patches are still a big deal. The only change Verizon notes for this update is:
- The current software update gives you the most up to date Android security patch on your device.
T-Mobile recently pushed out the security patch on its network for the same phones, and noted changes of device stability improvements and further improvements to performance as well.. If you've yet to receive the update, you can head into your phone's Settings, then About phone and check for the update manually. Once you're finished updating, be sure to let us know in the comments how it went for you.
