Samsung Galaxy S5 users on US Cellular will be delighted to know that they are now pushing out the Lollipop update.
Lollipop has been rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy S5 across various carriers, and US Cellular is the latest to join in. Owners of the Galaxy S5 will begin seeing Android 5.0.1 hit their device through an over-the-air update. The update brings along all the standard Lollipop goodies we are used to, such as the new Material Design, notification system, and much more.
US Cellular has just started the roll out, so you may not have received a notification on your device yet for the update. If you want to check manually for the update, go to Settings then "about device" and finally "software update". In the event that you can't wait for the update to be available on your device, US Cellular outlines how to update through Samsung's Kies software at the source link below.
