Photo editing app Snapseed has hit version 2.0, adding a number of new editing tools to help you get the most out of your photos.

Snapseed 2.0 adds new filters, tools, and non-destructive editing

Snapseed received its last major update in October 2013. Version 2.0 adds a number of new tools, including a non-destructive editing feature called Stacks. Stacks allow you to see a list of filters that you've applied to an image, and you can re-edit or copy a Stack over to another image, without making any permanent changes.

Snapseed 2.0 also includes new filters, brush and spot repair tools, and more. Check out the full list of additions below:

  • New tools including Lens Blur, Tonal Contrast, intelligent perspective Transform, and Spot Healing
  • Selectively apply filters and effects to parts of the image using the Brush tool
  • Non-destructive editing via Stacks allows you to re-edit or undo any change. You can also copy edits from one image to another

Snapseed 2.0 is rolling out now in the Google Play Store.
