Huawei's brand new Ascend Mate 7 has definitely turned some heads this week at IFA 2014, but with a 6-inch display there will no doubt be questions over its physical size. Despite boasting an 83% screen to body ratio, 6-inches is still a lot and the Mate 7 isn't a small phone. But to try and illustrate how big it actually is – or isn't, depending on your outlook – we've sized it up against the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
The Galaxy Note 4 hasn't had a screen size increase over it's predecessor so it's still at 5.7-inches. The Ascend Mate 7 has some slight added height and width, but as you can see in the pictures below, there's really not a lot in it at all. If there was ever such a thing as a 'compact' 6-inch phone, the Mate 7 would surely qualify.
