We're starting to get to that time of year. Holiday sales, Christmas gift shopping, and everyone likes a deal, right? If you're in the market for a cheap tablet, the Google Nexus 7 will always come highly recommended, but it's not for everyone -- there's no rear camera for one. Over at Amazon UK right now, the competing 7-inch offering from Samsung, the oh-so-elegantly named Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, can be yours for just £120 following a mail in rebate.

The 8GB tablet itself is retailing for £149.99, but following purchase customers can claim a £30 rebate directly from Samsung. They're not done there though, because besides claiming back your £30 rebate, you can also claim a free 8GB microSD card, doubling your storage. 16GB total storage for £120. To take a look at the offer, check out the source links below. Additionally, if a larger tablet is more your thing, Samsung seems to be offering rebates on the Tab 2 10.1 and the Note 10.1 of £50.

I thought it said 27 inch for a second. Definitely sounded strange.

I have this tablet and love it. I wouldn't trade it for a Nexus 7 because it has a pretty decent rear facing camera. I even intend to buy a 2nd one lol but I want the student version that is white. :)

Right now I have AOKP rom running on it and it is so smooth like butter.

I hope its actually eligible if bought from Amazon! I would presume it is but the terms specifically say it has to be a UK registered company and cite Pixmania as not being valid for example. Worth reading through the t&cs as you also have to apply within a certain time frame: http://www.reviewlaptops.co.uk/introduction/view.do?viewguide=SamsungTab...
