Samsung has launched its latest LTE-enabled budget phones, the Galaxy On5 and On7, in India. The On5 is priced at ₹8,990 ($135) and the On7 at ₹10,990 ($165), with both devices going up for purchase exclusively on Flipkart from later today.
The Galaxy On5 offers a 5-inch 720p display, quad-core Exynos 3475 SoC, 1.5GB of RAM, 8MP camera, 5MP front shooter, 8GB storage, microSD slot, LTE connectivity, and a 2,600mAh battery. The Galaxy On7 features a larger 5.5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 SoC, 13MP camera at the back and a 3,000mAh battery, with other specs remaining the same. Both phones come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The handsets will be available in black and gold color variants. While Samsung bundled its Milk Music service with the phones in China, Indian customers will receive MixRadio out of the box. The service offers 32 million tracks, and the ability to download music for offline listening.
