Incipio Feather Ultralight Hard Shell Case for the Samsung Galaxy Note

I have a real problem when it comes to buying cases for my Samsung Galaxy Note. I know I'm not the only one but I have a bad habit of putting on cases then taking them off a week or so later. Then, I'll buy another and repeat the whole process over again. Sadly though, naked devices have no protection against the accidental bumps, drops, scratches, dings and whatever else you can imagine bad happening in the run of a day. Luckily, I have found Incipio Feather Ultralight Hard Shell that offers a fine balance between offering protection, keeping things light and not adding a ton of bulk. Interested? Jump below for the full look at it and see if it's a right fit your usage.

As noted above, I'm not overly fond of cases that add a whole lot of bulk to my device and the Incipio Feather Ultralight Hard Shell doesn't disappoint in that regard. Sometimes, I even manage to forget that I actually have one there due to the fact it is so light and thin on the Galaxy Note. True story, I also picked up an Otterbox Commuter for an upcoming review and tried to put the Note in it with the Incipio Feather Ultralight Hard Shell on it and then wondered why the Otterbox wasn't fitting.

One of the other great things about the Incipio Feather Ultralight Hard Shell is the fact it doesn't cover up any of the ports or button rockers you will need to access. Your headphone port, USB port, S-Pen slot and power button as well as volume rockers all stay easily accessible and should you need to pop the battery, SD Card or SIM out -- slipping it off is fairly easy once you know how to do it. The video below shows us how plus, gives better look at it will sit on your device.

So, is there really anything to not like about the Incipio Feather Ultralight Hard Shell? If I had one complaint, I think it would be the fact that when you stick in your pocket, it does tend to track a lot of lint and dust along with it given its soft touch finish.

That said though, I've used far worse when it comes to that problem. It's a minor issue here and Incipio does give you a cleaning cloth in the package so if you keep it handy, you'll have nothing to worry about. Plus, you also get a screen protector as well. This is a great case. It is the only case I use on my Note after going through many cases looking for the right balance between protection, and a minimalist design with very little weight.

In fact, I can leave the Incipio case on while I use my universal car dock, and it fits perfectly well inside the Reiko belt clip pouch.

I highly recommend this case if you want protection for the Note, but are interested in maintaining the devices sleek and lightweight profile.

Thanks Chris. But I have to say, this phone has got me nearly worn out. Why you ask? Because I still do not have one, and the wait has nearly killed me! : - ) Why oh why has the other Carrier's not picked this up yet? I need to have a LTE/CDMA version, because of where I live. But that's still alot of choices! Sprint, Verizon, U.S. Cellular cover us best. Come on already! Grrr...

Not trying to be a jerk Chris, but this thing offers absolutely no screen protection. As someone who has the note fall from a 3ft. drop and do a complete flat face drop I'm here to tell you that the Gorilla Glass will spiderweb and shatter like no one's business. Otterbox, or an Amazon multilayered case are necessities.
