Android-based game console maker OUYA's fate may soon be sealed as a new report claims Razer is in talk to acquire them.

It looks like OUYA, the makers of the Android-based game console, may be close to a deal that will allow it to be acquired by Razer. According to CNET:

The deal has not yet finalized, a person familiar with the matter has said, but the companies are discussing ways to bring all Ouya's staff onboard.

Neither OUYA nor Razer have confirmed these reports. However, the rumors about OUYA seeking buyers have been around for several months.

If this latest report is true, it would mark the end of OUYA, which raised over $8 million on Kickstarter to help fund the launch of its $99 Android game console that only used free-to-play games. The console itself was finally released in mid-2013 to mixed reviews and poor sales.
