Heard the one about the Droid 2 launching on Aug. 12?

I was totally going to get the Droid 2 and then I rooted my DInc with Sky Raider 2.2 and it is like a brand new phone. I am not sure now rather or not I will buy the Droid 2. I think I will wait and see how it gets reviewed and see what is coming out later.

I heard they're going to offer early adopters of the droid 1 an early upgrade. If you adopted before Nov 15, you can upgrade early to droid 2. Then again, you'll be stuck with the new $350 etf.

Anyone remember when D1 was released? I picked one up on day 1, not at home so I don't have the date.

They had the $350 etf when the first droid came out...so no different now

Big screen 3.7 not anymore. I would wait to see if it can be rooted hope its not like the Droid X

Looking at the spec sheet, it looks like a 9 month refresh device.. BB isn't only in refresh business, huh!!
