Have you always wanted to use your smartphone as a hockey puck? If you live in Canada, today is your lucky day, as the Galaxy S5 Active is now available in your country. The device is available for purchase on Rogers and Bell, with Telus set to commence sales starting next week.
Rogers and Bell are offering the Titanium Grey Galaxy S5 Active for CA$280 ($253) on a two-year contract, or CA$700 ($633) contract-free. Telus is yet to announce pricing, but it is estimated to be in line with other carriers. With an IP67 dust and water resistance certification and a Mil-STD-810G specification that offers protection against shock, humidity and rain, the Galaxy S5 Active can handle anything you throw at it (you can also throw the device at something, but that may come across as being reckless).
The Galaxy S5 Active is also scheduled to launch in European markets later this year.
Canadian readers, are you excited about the availability of the rugged device in your country?
