The Dropbox team have announced a handy new feature inside their official apps for Android and iOS. With Microsoft Office documents open for viewing, it's now possible to hit the edit button to launch the installed Office suite for a more feature-rich editing experience. Once all changes have been saved everything is automatically saved to the cloud, thanks to both parties working on support bridges between the two services.

The new Office integration is perfect for those who rely on Dropbox storage, but require tools available in Microsoft's suite of productivity apps. It's worth noting that, according to the Dropbox support section, attempting to edit files within a Dropbox for Business account requires one of the following Office 365 accounts: Business, Business Premium, ProPlus, E3, or E4.
