Google took to its official Spanish Twitter account today to announce that Android One is making its European debut with the launch of the Aquaris A4.5 in Spain and Portugal through retailer BQ.
The Aquaris A4.5 is a 4.5-inch smartphone with a 540 x 960 IPS display. Inside the smartphone is a 1GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 16GB of expandable storage, 1GB of RAM, dual SIM slots and a 2470mAh battery. Around back, there's an 8MP camera, and Android 5.1.1 ships on board. The Aquaris A4.5 also packs LTE support, and costs €169.90 in Spain and €179.90 in Portugal.
We've previously seen Android One expand to emerging markets in Asia and Africa, but this makes for the first expansion into European territory. If you happen to live in Spain of Portugal and want to get your hands on the Aquaris A4.5, you can check it out at BQ at the link below.
