Seagate's 6TB BarraCuda hard drive has dropped to just $110

The Seagate BarraCuda 6TB internal hard drive is back down to $109.99 on Amazon, matching a low price we've only seen once or twice before. The last time it dropped this low was for the Black Friday shopping season. The drive regularly sells for around $140 and usually only goes down to about $120 when going on sale. At this price it's only $10 more expensive than the 4TB version but still gives you two more terabytes.

The BarraCuda is designed to be as cost-effective as possible, which is why the price is so low for so much space. If finding a great balance between price and functionality is right up your alley, then so is this drive. It's still as fast as a SATA connection allows for, and it comes with Instant Secure Erase software so you can safely retire your old drives if this one is replacing them. There are other security features that allow you to encrypt your data as well.

The 6TB capacity means you can do so much more. Save all your photos, start a video editing hobby, collect your media all in one place. Do whatever you want to do without worrying about the space you are taking up. Time to become a digital media hoarder. And there's nothing wrong with that!

The drive also has a 256MB Cache and uses Seagate's MTC technology. Your PC can work with this technology to reach all-new performance levels. It will load installed applications, games, and files, faster than ever before. While this might not be the same speed as an SSD, it will be faster than any standard hard drive you've been using for the last several years.

Users give it 4.6 stars out of 5 based on 3,692 reviews, and it comes with a two-year warranty.
