The first-generation Level On on-ear headphones were designed with a removable cable for easy portability, and this time around Samsung is cutting the cord entirely by launching a wireless edition of the same. Called Level On Wireless, the headphones feature 40mm drivers and come with active noise cancellation technology which Samsung says "accurately maps surrounding sounds for a clearer, uninterrupted audio experience." The headphones come with a touchpad on the side through which you can control media playback (play, pause and skip), along with volume and S Voice when paired with Galaxy phones.
Battery life for Level On Wireless with Bluetooth and noise cancellation activated is touted at up to 11 hours, with dedicated Bluetooth playback coming in at up to 23 hours.
Level Link is essentially a dongle that plus into your traditional wired audio gear, allowing you to transmit wirelessly to your Bluetooth-enabled devices. The wireless audio adapter features both transmit and receive modes, comes with apt X Low Latency codec along with apt X, Samsung HD, SBC and AAC with a claimed battery life of 6 hours. You can connect the Level Link to your TV, with the adapter allowing connectivity to two Bluetooth devices at the same time.
Level On Wireless is available in Blue Black, Blue, Red, White color combinations, with the Level Link debuting in Charcoal Black, Blue, Red and White options. No word as yet as to the pricing of these products, but Samsung states that the products will be available mid-May, so we don't have to wait long to find out.
