Samsung announces mysterious October 11 Galaxy event

Samsung's already had a pretty big 2018. This year alone, the company's launched the Galaxy S9/S9+, Note 9, Tab S4, and Galaxy Watch. Despite all that, it's got another gadget in store for us that'll be unveiled on October 11.

On its press site, Samsung announced the event and is promoting it as "4x fun." Along with that, the announcement reads:

Samsung's newest Galaxy device is bringing more ways to express yourself than ever before. Capture the fun with Samsung as the company celebrates the launch of the new device with A Galaxy Event on October 11, 2018.

The event will be livestreamed on Samsung's website, and while we can't say with any certainty at this point, it sure does sound like we're going to be introduced to a smartphone with four cameras. Will it be part of the flagship Galaxy S series, or is Samsung bringing big camera features to one of its mid-range lines? Who knows.

What are you hoping to see from this event?
