Save $30 on the Ring Stick Up Cam or take up to $40 off Ring video doorbells
Amazon has several Ring products down to low prices for Labor Day. All of these deals went live today and will expire September 8. The Ring Stick Up battery-powered HD security camera is down to $149.99 through both the Ring website and on Amazon. This camera normally sells for around $180, and this price matches a low the camera only drops to around every couple months.
When it comes to the video doorbells, the Ring Video Doorbell Pro is down to $209. That's $40 off its street price. You can also go with the Ring Video Doorbell 2 on sale for $169 compared to its regular price of $199.
The Stick Up Cam can monitor all areas of your home, whether indoors or out, in 1080p video. It has night vision, two-way audio so you can both hear and speak through the camera, and a slim design that can mount just about anywhere. The quick-release battery is rechargeable so you can get the camera back to work quickly.
The major differences between the two video doorbells are the Doorbell 2 has a rechargeable battery pack and is easier to install, especially in places where you can't hardwire it. The Doorbell Pro has much more advanced motion detection and works with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands.
All of these devices pair with the Echo Dot fairly smoothly. Use Alexa to turn the light on or send announcements to your Echo devices when the doorbell is pressed or motion is detected. You can use your Echo device to hear and speak to visitors, too. With the video doorbell you'll record video in 1080p and be able to watch that video anywhere using your phone and Live View on-demand video and audio. Get mobile alerts, too.
