It's only a few days until New Year's, and you can start counting down now with the Times Square Official Ball app. The app presents an on-going countdown to 2016, which is customizable to your timezone. You can also watch the ball drop live on New Year's Eve.

In the Times Square Official Ball app, you'll be able to:

  • Follow and interact with the Times Square Ball on Twitter
  • Watch live streaming of the Times Square New Year's Eve Celebration.
  • Customize your Countdown Clock with your time zone.

This year's livestream will also feature a performance by pop star Jessie J, who will sing John Lennon's Imagine moments before midnight.
