Nexus 7 Sleeve hits Google Play in US and Canada for $29
Along with the announcement that the Nexus 7 is now available in Canada, Google has also put up the first official accessory for the device in the Play Store. The simply-named "Nexus 7 Sleeve" is a neoprene and microfiber zip-up case designed to protect your tablet. The styling seems to be pretty basic and is black on the outside with grey cloth on the inside, and has a second pouch on the outside for other cables and accessories.
The Play Store listing indicates that the Nexus 7 sleeve will work with both 2012 and 2013 editions of the tablet, which is nice. The sleeve is now on sale in the U.S. and Canada for $29.99 and indicates that it will ship in 1-2 business days, with some pretty expensive shipping options starting at $17.98. If this design isn't your thing, Google also sells a generic 7-inch tablet sleeve from its own store for less.
Let's hope this is just the beginning of official Nexus 7 accessories from Google this time around.
