Ring started out with just a video doorbell and has expanded into a suite of smart cameras you can use both inside and out of your home. The Spotlight Cam offers the best of Ring's video features with bright lights in a package that doesn't take up as much space as the Floodlight Cam does. There are two LED panes (one on each side of the camera) that can be turned on and off through the app or automatically activate with motion.

The Spotlight Cam can send alerts to your phone when it detects motion, and you can use your device from anywhere to communicate with whomever happens to be around. The two-way audio lets them talk back as well, and should you not see the motion as it happens you can review the clips later through the Ring app, as long as you pay for the service. Ring charges $3 a month or $30 a year for Ring Protect, which allows you to review old footage and save it when needed. Your purchase also includes Ring's lifetime theft protection wherein if the camera were to be stolen, Ring will replace it for free, which is a great perk.

We took a look at the battery version of this camera, which is the same except the one on sale at Woot plugs in to power, and came away impressed. It offers a variety of features that are super useful, and getting it set up only takes a few minutes. Be sure to read the full review and grab one for yourself while it's on sale.
