Grab Dell's 11.6-inch Chromebook refurbished for $180 at Woot

Woot has two refurbished Dell Chromebooks down to low prices today. Grab the Dell 3100 for $179.99 or upgrade to the Dell 5190 for $10 more. New versions sell for anywhere from $245 for the 3100 to $330 for the 5190. It really depends on the retailer, but you're saving a huge chunk of change going through Woot. Even on Dell, the Chromebooks sell for more than $100 above Woot's price.

As refurbs, these notebooks come with a 90-day limited Woot warranty. Woot does have a mandatory shipping fee. The only way around it is to use your Amazon Prime account.

Dell G3 15 gaming laptop

Dell G3 15 gaming laptop

$636.99 $865.00 Save $228

This is a limited sale that's bound to run out sooner than later. It has a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 4.5GHz processor, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card, a 256GB NVMe SSD for storage, and 8GB RAM. It also has a 15.6-inch 1080p display.

We took a look at the Dell Chromebook 3100 back in July. We gave it 4 stars and a Recommended badge. The review said, "With a solid keyboard, great battery life with an even greater charger, and the Dell durability we knew and trust, there's a reason this Chromebook took runner-up in our Best Chromebooks for Students roundup."

The 3100 has an Intel N3350 dual-core 1.1 GHz processor, 16GB flash storage, and 4GB DDR4 memory. It uses Chrome OS and relies on the Google Cloud for a lot of the work you do. It also has an HD touchscreen.

The Dell 5190 that costs $10 more in this sale is very similar. It's also a 2-in-1 convertible laptop so you can flip it over to a tablet. The battery life lasts up to 10 hours, and it comes with two USB-C ports. You can charge from either port and use the free one for accessories or peripherals.

These are both "educational" Chromebooks in that they are designed to be used by students. That means a sealed, spill-resistant keyboard, which can handle 12-ounce spills. The notebooks also have protective bumpers and can withstand 30-inch drops. Get your kids a laptop that can survive the dangers of school life.
