The Archer A7 is a followup to the highly popular Archer C7, and it looks to maintain TP-Link's hold on the mid-range, budget-friendly router market. It has two bands with 1750 Mbps bandwidth and long-range coverage with the three external antennas. It also has four Gigabit ports and an integrated USB port.
The A7 is also designed to work with Alexa, so you can ask for guest access and stuff like that with your voice if you have a device like the Echo Dot at home. We gave it 4 out of 5 stars in our full review and also named it among the best Wi-Fi routers in 2019 as the top budget pick. Getting one at almost half off with today's refurb deal makes it an even better value for money. Existing owners rate it highly as well, giving it an average rating 4.2 out of 5 stars based on almost 4,500 reviews at Amazon.
If you're in a state where B&H Photo now charges sales tax, you might want to look into its Payboo credit card. The way it works is quite simple; B&H will charge you the full amount plus sales tax, and then purchases made at its SuperStore location or that are shipped to eligible states will receive an instant reward on their card for the amount of tax that was paid. You'll only then be responsible for the remaining portion, which is the cost of the merchandise. While the amount of tax on today's purchase won't be huge, if you go on to buy some camera gear or a new laptop there, you could save a decent chunk.
