The Brother P-touch PTD600 High-Res label maker is down to $49.99 on Amazon. The label maker regularly sells for as high as $80, and even when it does drop in price it usually only goes as low as $60. Today's drop to $50 matches an all-time low that we only saw once all of last year. You can actually find this deal at a couple of retailers, too, including B&H and Walmart.

The PTD600 uses a compact design but still manages to include a large keyboard and a top-loading tape design. It's super convenient to use and easy enough to tuck away in a drawer somewhere until you do need it. It also uses a full color high-resolution display that has backlighting so you can make labels at any time of the day. You can even connect the label maker to your PC or Mac and get added functionality, like the ability to use a keyboard you're more comfortable with to easily print better labels.

You will get an AC adapter with your purchase so you can plug in and go, but the PTD600 can also be battery powered if you need the mobility. The battery powering option requires six AA batteries, but that's an inexpensive purchase on Amazon and you can always get a few more for spares.

The label maker is covered by a two-year limited warranty and a lifetime of phone support from Brother.
