According to the official changelog, the new update brings improved active noise cancellation performance. It also includes improvements to the switching speed of Voice detect mode and the Ambient sound feature. The update weighs in at just 2.2MB in size and is currently rolling out to users in the U.S.
In case you haven't received a notification for the new update on your phone yet, you can check for it manually from the Galaxy Wearable app. Open the app on your phone and tap on Earbuds software update > Download and install. While the update is currently available only in the U.S., it is expected to become available globally before the end of the month.
