The Fitbit Versa 2 isn't a drastic upgrade from its predecessor, but the changes it brings are all for the better. It has a lightweight and comfortable design with a new AMOLED display and around 6 days of battery life. Of course, it has a bunch of health and fitness sensors and can track your heart rate, steps, distance, calories burned, hourly activity, active minutes and floors climbed plus keep tabs on workouts and even your sleep. Linking with your phone, you'll get call, text, calendar, and smartphone app notifications with the ability to send quick replies and voice replies (on Android only). Fitbit Pay is also included on the Versa 2 for convenient contactless payments on the go.

The most notable addition to the Versa 2 is Alexa. Amazon's smart assistant is built-in and there's a mic and speaker so you can deliver voice commands. You can use Alexa for just about anything you would on an Amazon Echo device, ranging from finding out about the weather, adding items to your Amazon shopping list, controlling smart home devices, and more. With the Versa 2, you'll be able to control whatever appliance is connected to the included TP-Link smart plug as well as any other smart home devices you have set up with Alexa in your home.

Fitbit's Versa 2 landed on our list of the best smartwatches in 2019 thanks to its excellent health and fitness tracking and stellar battery life. Check out our full Fitbit Versa 2 review for more insight.
