AOC's frameless 25-inch 1080p monitor has dropped to its lowest price at $150

The AOC G2590FX 24.5-inch 1080p frameless gaming monitor is down to $149.76 on Amazon. The monitor normally sells for around $200. Even though it did drop to about $160 for some of the holidays, it has never gone as low as we're seeing today. This is a new low price for a monitor that seems to be trying to sell itself off.

The monitor has a 25-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 HD pixel resolution. It uses a TN panel, which explains the price but also helps with the ultra fast 1ms response time. It also has a 144 Hz refresh rate. The frameless design means you have three sides with barely a bezel at all. Of the 25 inch size, 24.5 inches are viewable screen.

The monitor is equipped with adaptive sync technology to help reduce screen tearing during high-octane moments like a fast-paced game. It uses AMD's FreeSync by default, but it's also G-Sync compatible so it can be used with Nvidia graphics cards as well.

Connectivity options include a DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI ports, and VGA. There's also a 3.5mm audio line out if you need that. Focus on the DisplayPort, though. You'll want to connect your graphics card through that port to get the highest refresh rate, and it's particularly important if you plan to use Nvidia G-Sync.

AOC features built into the screen include a low input lag display, low blue mode, and flicker free technology. The Shadow control gives you more details during dark scenes without impacting the rest of the screen. The dial point can provide an optional crosshair overlay to help you improve your aim while playing shooters. The monitor is also wall mountable.
