Samsung has rolled out a series of commercials showcasing what's on offer with the mid-range Galaxy A 2016 series. The videos highlight the metal and glass designs of the phones, the f/1.9 camera with OIS, and also offer a quick look at how you can use Samsung Pay with the handsets.

For those that can't justify the cost of a Galaxy S6, Samsung has the Galaxy A series, which offers a similar design with hardware that's a step down from its flagship. When the Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 launched last year, there wasn't a frame of reference for Samsung, as the A series was its first attempt at all-metallic devices. But...

Samsung has announced the 2016 refresh of the Galaxy A series in India. The Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 will go on sale starting February 15, with both models available in gold, black, and white. The Galaxy A5 2016 will retail for ₹29,400 ($433), while the Galaxy A7 2016 will set you back ₹33,400 ($492).

Samsung has officially launched the third device in the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A7. Targeted at a younger audience, the Galaxy A7 has a metal unibody, 5 MP wide-angle front camera and is just 6.3 mm thick, making it Samsung's thinnest smartphone to date.

Samsung's not done launching mobiles this week. After launching the Galaxy E5 and E7 in India, the manufacturer has now announced the latest in the Galaxy Grand series, the Galaxy Grand Max, in South Korea. There's another device on offer as well in the form of the Galaxy A7, which is making its official debut in Malaysia.
Samsung is preparing to officially unveil the Galaxy A7 in South Korea next month, according to reports out of the region. It's believed that the tech giant will announce the new smartphone on January 14th, alongside the Galaxy A5. Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A5 in China, along with the entry-level Galaxy A3.

Samsung already launched two devices in the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5, and now it looks like the vendor is set to launch its third offering, the Galaxy A7. Alleged specs of the handset leaked by SamMobile show that Samsung is targeting the high-end market with the upcoming smartphone.

Following the launch of the metal-clad Galaxy A5 in China last month, Samsung is getting ready to unveil the Galaxy A7 in the country. The device was seen undergoing certification at TENAA – China's equivalent of the FCC – which revealed a thickness of just 6.3 mm.
