Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom

Samsung's first shot at a camera-centric smartphone, the Galaxy S4 Zoom, is receiving a much-awaited update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The update, which is currently rolling out in Russia, brings better performance, redesigned status bar, wireless printing, easier access to music controls along with full-screen album art, new keyboard, camera shortcut on the lock screen and much more. The update might even bring some of the features that debuted on the Galaxy K Zoom over to its predecessor.

The KitKat update (C101XXUBNF4) should be making its way to other regions shortly. You can manually check to see if an update is available by going into Settings -> About phone, or by connecting your device to a computer and checking with Samsung Kies.

Are you excited that the Galaxy S4 Zoom is making the switch to Android 4.4.2 KitKat?
