The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is coming to AT&T on Friday, March 20. The downsized version of the 2014 Samsung flagship will run $428.99, or as little as $14.30/month.
Sure, it's not quite as powerful as the Samsung Galaxy S5, and it's obviously not as big, and the Samsung Galaxy S6 is right around the corner, but that doesn't mean the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini should be beyond consideration if those two are just too big for you.
Granted, the S5 Mini isn't that mini. We're still looking at a 4.5-inch display (a 720p Super AMOLED model here) versus the 5.1-inch 1080p display on the Galaxy S5 or the 5.1" QHD (1440p) display found on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. It's also sporting a less powerful processor and less RAM, but then again, it costs significantly less too.
You'll be able to grab the Galaxy S5 Mini from AT&T starting on March 20, 2015, for $428.99 off contract, $99.99 with a two-year contract, or on AT&T's Next payment plan running from $14.30/month over 30 months or $21.48/month over 20 months.
If you're in the market for a smaller Samsung smartphone on AT&T and the Samsung Galaxy Alpha at $319.99 isn't doing it for you, you might want to consider the Galaxy S5 Mini. Considering how long it took to launch onto AT&T, it might be a while before we see a hypothetical Galaxy S6 Mini…
