AT&T has announced that the Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S5 will finally begin hitting devices starting April 8.
The other US carriers have been pushing the Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop update for a little while already, and today AT&T joins the party. AT&T has confirmed that beginning on April 8 Lollipop will start pushing out to users. The update, which brings Google's new Material Design, revamped notifications, and other tweaks throughout the UI, should be available later today.
It is not known at what time today the update will go live, but you will receive a notification on your device when the update is available. If you want to check manually, go to Settings then "about device" and finally "software update".
