Galaxy Ace 3Entry-level handset finally gets a UK launch

First announced way back in June, the humble Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is due to arrive in the UK tomorrow, Saturday Oct. 5. The entry-level smartphone features a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera and a 4-inch WVGA display. It's running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with many of the Galaxy S4's features, including S Travel, S Translator and S Voice.

Samsung says the Galaxy Ace 3 will launch first on EE, followed by other "selected retailers," including Tesco and Carphone Warehouse.

So basically this is a Galaxy S2 with a different case. Should be okay as long as Samsung doesn't price it too high.

Holy crap, this what they call entry level now? This has specs not too far off from my RAZR M. Android world moves fast as hell.

The ace is not really entry level, there are phones below it. But for me from ace2 it's the 'entry' level that starts to make sense (it's very useable), you get a nice phone that works quite well, it's not too stripped down. I bought the ace2 for my mother, back then I just couldn't take my self to go even worse.

I didn't even know about the galaxy ace 3.

Wonder what price it will actually be... The specs are basic in some ways yet comparable with some mid range and top range phones as others have said.
