Did you pick up a Sony Tablet S yet? The recently launched tablet came out of the blocks running Honeycomb 3.1, with a promise of an update to 3.2. Reportedly that promise has begun to come true today, with the 3.2 update becoming available for download.

Among the new features available, is support for Sony's Video Unlimited store. This isn't due for launch until October 10, with the Sony Entertainment Network services all in place before the end of  October. Video rentals available through the store will be offered in both Standard and High Definition.

Also due with the rollout of the Entertainment Network is the Sony Reader Online Store, and the Playstation services. The 3.2 update is necessary to make use of all the Sony Entertainment Network features.

Is the update showing yet for you guys? Let us know in the comments!

That's odd, because we had the updates available on launch day and were telling the customers to update. I'm excited to see the playstation store and whatever else they throw at us. I hope Sony works quickly on software updates (Ics) and bugs (accelerometer).

Got my prompt last Friday for the update. Been working smoothly.

Same here, I updated the one in my local BB Friday (surprised they hadn't done it before putting it on the shelf), and then purchased one to take home. Disappointed that the Playstation store is not available for the tablet S yet.
