Android Central

Here's a blast from the past for everyone. Sega has been pretty good at bringing us some of our favorite games from yesteryear to play on our Android devices, and this summer we get to play another one. It's been announced today that the HD remake of Jet Set Radio, due to land on consoles, will also be coming to Android.

Anyone who owned a Sega Dreamcast will quite possibly remember, fondly, Jet Set Radio from the first time around. In my case, I've still got a copy. The mobile version will have some mobile-centric features too, one of which is Openfeint integration. Apparently, players will also be able to use pictures taken on their device as the in-game graffiti. Now that's a nice touch. Just don't do anything rude with it, OK, kids.

We're really looking forward to this one, and despite no more accurate date than "this summer," we're sure it's going to be worth waiting for. Check out the full press release after the break.

Holy crap...I never had a dreamcast but I had jet set radio future on the first Xbox....this game is epic and I will be buying it when it comes, should look good on my S3 and N7.

I just can't wait for this! I will be happy to wait for ICS on my Rezound to have this game on my Nexus 7. I was able to spend so many hours on this game =D

Yes
Yes
VERY YES!

I just hope it will be realistically priced, not priced something insane like Square-Enix tends to do.

In all seriousness, this is reason enough to make the update to the gs3 or evo lte. This is in my top 5 games of all times. Seriously. take my money sega!

Wow, used to love these games. Hope Sega keeps releasing stuff like this from the Dreamcast glory years. While your at it release Shenmue 3 and finally finish the series 10 years late.
