Yeah, this site is really going downhill, first they start having poorly formatted 7+ page articles and now ebay deals? an ebay deal isn't what anyone would call a legitimate deal, now if say newegg were selling refurbished models for that price then maybe, but even then do we really need articles telling us about deals on repaired broken device?

I'd be tempted but only $50 discount for a refurbished? Probably not. And it's a Samsung

But it's Samsung and has this yucky thing called plastic and Touchwiz on it

Are there any tablets with any significant amounts of metal on them? I love my Nexus 7 and its plastic parts. If the back were metal I couldn't have wireless charging.

The entire back of my LG GPad Google Play Edition is metal. Its a great tablet.

I'll stick to my yucky thing called plastic and Touchwiz... As long as it blows anything out the water you can put up against it, I'm more than happy. People have the right to their opinion but until you see what Samsung Note tablets and phones can do, these opinions are not relevant. Also, I've yet to see a tablet made from anything other than plastic. I would think an all metal tab would be kind of heavy had have some really crappy reception.

I totally agree. My Note 10.1 2014 is a great tablet. If it was in my budget, I would take advantage of this deal. Awesome deal for a 12.2 tab! Samsung makes great tablets and phones.

I intend to swap my Sam galaxy tab 2 7" for one of these by Christmas

My phone is now 4.7" so might as well go up in size with the tablet too.

It doesn't seen like a bad price for a quality 12 inch tablet if you like Samsung tabs and you're in the market for one. It should have some kind of warranty if it's a manufacturer certified refurb. Samaung is getting ridiculous with all of these different models though

I want a big and small tablet. Big for when I'm comfortable in place at home. But I love my Nexus 7 when I'm moving around or going somewhere. It makes an excellent companion in the car as well. This Samsung would probably be much too large for that.

This is a great solution and one that we use regularly. I have a Samsung Note 10.1 2014 for my usual stuff at home. I don't carry it unless we are headed on vacation. Otherwise it sits at home and I use it daily. I also have a Nexus 7 model which we use for long car trips as our dedicated GPS solution. It is awesome at this. The screen is large enough to see more data but small enough to not be a distraction. I highly recommend it with a stand alone app. I use Co-Pilot for our dedicated app.

I got a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 last November. I haven't touched my Nexus 7 since. Considering I have a Note 3, the Nexus 7 seems unneeded. I guess I can use it on my bike rides.

I kind of ran into the same situation. I thought about selling it but mine is the previous model and they don't fetch too much. It didn't seem worth it to sell for so little especially after ebay/paypal fees. We keep it docked on the end table in the living room when we aren't using it as a GPS for use as a dedicated remote for the Chromecast. It serves that purpose well too.

I just bought the Note Pro last week. I absolutely love it. I use it mostly for work. The office App that comes with it is amazing. I couldn't be happier.

I purchased the tab pro 10.1 a few months back, if you enjoy a lag fest go ahead and buy this tablet. It can't handle anything you throw at it.

I have the 10.1 pro also and I have never had it lag on me running anything maybe you got a bad unit.
