Xiaomi has announced on Twitter that it is ending flash sales of the Redmi Note 4G in India as the vendor believes it has sufficient stock to make the device available for open sale. Starting today, anyone can purchase the device directly from Flipkart by shelling out Rs. 9,999 ($160).
The Redmi Note 4G comes with great hardware for the price, which includes a 5.5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 400 CPU, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 13MP camera at the back, 5MP camera at the front and a 3,100 mAh battery. The device runs Xiaomi's MIUI 5 out of the box, with the vendor commencing OTA rollout of the Android 4.4.4 KitKat-based MIUI 6 update later this week.
