Sprint today has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Galaxy S5 Sport, its version of the Galaxy S5 Active.
The software update clocks in at version G860PVPU1BOC5 and bumps the S5 Sport up to Android 5.0, bringing with it the usual Lollipop fare such revamped notifications and a new multitasking UI, in addition to lots of Material Design.
Additionally, Sprint has included Samsung's Reactivation Lock feature in the update as well. The feature basically adds another layer of security to your device by requiring you to input your Samsung account credentials before you (or a thief) can factory reset the device.
If you were one of the folks who picked up the rugged Galaxy S5 Sport from Sprint, the Lollipop update should be hitting your device over-the-air soon enough.
