Amazon is now accepting pre-orders for some units of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. They include factory unlocked versions of both smartphones from resellers.
Many U.S. carriers have already started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge but Amazon is also offering many unlocked versions from resellers with inflated prices beginning at $999.99 for the 32GB Galaxy S6 all the way to $1,356 for a 128GB Galaxy S6 edge.
At the moment, Amazon has the Sprint and AT&T versions of the Galaxy S6 available for purchase, but it's likely that the smartphone's other carriers will become available on the site in the very near future. While the official launch date for both smartphones is April 10, pre-orders for the T-Mobile versions are already being shipped to some customers.
As for the unlocked models, be wary of ponying up the big bucks for an unlocked model before triple-checking the frequencies it supports — chances are the international unlocked models won't play nice with every carrier in the U.S.
