Best answer: Yes. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 include active noise cancelation, thanks to dynamic two-way speakers and three microphones built into each earbud.

Samsung brings Active Noise Cancelation to the Galaxy Buds 2

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 are the third set of Samsung earbuds to feature active noise cancelation. This instantly places them amongst the best wireless earbuds to compete with the likes of the Galaxy Buds Pro, Amazon Echo Buds (2nd Gen), and the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro.

Samsung claims that the Galaxy Buds 2 can block up to 98% of external noise, falling just short of the 99% offered by the Galaxy Buds Pro. But some of this can be attributed to the design choices, as the Buds 2 provide a similar fit to its more expensive brethren. Samsung has even updated its Galaxy Wearable app to provide an ear-tip fit test so that you're provided with a better seal in your ear canal. This will help the earbuds cancel out the noise you don't need to hear.

Considering the price, this is pretty impressive, but it's unlikely to match up with the likes of the Sony WF-1000XM4s or the AirPods Pro. What will be interesting to see is how the Galaxy Buds Pro compare to the OnePlus Buds Pro once they're available. But hey, if you're looking for some sub-$150 earbuds with ANC, the Buds 2 are a great choice.
