Starting at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will cost just $249 on Walmart in one of the most epic Black Friday phone deals we've seen. And that's not hyperbole: the cheapest we've seen the S20 FE before now is $549.
Before you get too excited, Walmart is reserving this sweet deal for its Walmart+ members, at least initially. Walmart+ members get a four-hour head start on Black Friday deals, so theoretically, this deal will open up to the general public at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET — but there's no guarantee it'll still be in stock by then. You'll also need to pay for a full membership to get access; no trial membership trickery.
Frankly, paying $13 for a month of Walmart+ to save $450 on a phone seems like a no-brainer, but it's your call!
The other caveat is that you'll need to use this phone with Walmart's Straight Talk, which may or may not work for you. It's the rare MNVO that is compatible with AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile, so you can get a SIM card with the best network for your area. And its larger plans come with tons of data and free international calling. But it's also more expensive monthly than other options like Mint Mobile or Tello.
The whole appeal of the Galaxy S20 FE is that it offers flagship-quality specs for a more reasonable price than the Galaxy S21. It remains on our list of the best Android phones as the "best value flagship," and its value is ridiculously good at $249. You get performance nearly as fast as 2021 flagships, impressive camera performance, and expandable storage.

This phone a year later is a steal at this price. Mine is running great and still getting monthly security updates.
Wish this wasn't a US centric deal. Such a good phone.
You're like Columbo with your "oh and one more thing...." It's locked to Walmart Straight Talk ?! That's a pretty big caveat to be dropping at the very end. I kept thinking this was way too good to be true, even if I had to buy a one month Walmart+ membership, and I was right. **It's also the non 5G model only that's on sale.
Are you sure it's the non 5g model? STSAG781U1CPWP is the straight talk model number. Which is g781u1. Which comes back as a 5g variant.
I have this as my work-issued phone and tbh I would go as far as to say this is about as big of a deal as the Essential phones that sold for $200.
The screen issues for me was a pain. I'm pretty glad I left this phone for the Pixel 6 Pro. The price is a deal but considering I got this phone for free from T-Mobile, it was still not good enough of a deal because of the screen issues.
