Mint Mobile today introduced a new unlimited plan (opens in new tab) for its subscribers, offering a host of benefits.

It also gives you 35GB of high-speed 5G/4G data, after which your speed will be capped at 128kbps. You will also be able to stream videos at only 480p resolution. Hotspot data, on the other hand, is capped at 5GB per month.

You can get the new unlimited plan from Mint Mobile for an introductory price of $90 for three months (opens in new tab). After three months, you will have to pay $40 per month to renew the plan for three more months.

To lock into the introductory offer pricing after three months, you will have to renew with a twelve-month plan. In comparison, T-Mobile's Essentials plan is priced at $60 per month for a single line, while Verizon's Start Unlimited plan costs $70.

  • "You will also be able to stream videos at only 480p resolution" How generous of them.
  • To bad T-Mobile doesn't have much service in my home nor job.
  • Awesome deal, I'm already a mint mobile plan, we are on the bare minimum 3GB plan but hopefully when our situation improves we'll be able to bump up our plans. This will be an awesome option. Myself I'll probably be fine with 12GB at the most. But my wife will probably want to go back to unlimited when we can afford it. Thanks Mint Mobile! Just don't tell my wife, she'll want to upgrade right away lol.

  • I don't have any qualms with the price to data cap. I just have a problem with the name. It's a 35gb plan for $30.. not an unlimited plan. Sure, technically you get 128kbps after the 35gb.... But, you also get unlimited data on the 3gb plan if you follow that logic.
