Motorola Droid 4

The Motorola Droid 4 has already been spotted in all its glory but there isn't a whole lot of info out there when it comes to a release date. Its been speculated that it would be a while yet before you can head on down to a retail location and pick one up given the Motorola Droid 3 hasn't been out all that long but we're not so sure about that.

Motorola has been busy as of late pushing devices out left and right and with the Motorola Droid 4 now appearing in some Verizon internal testing systems, we're inclined once again to believe it will arrive sooner rather then later. Either way -- we're positive this is not the last we'll hear of the device.

Motorola Droid 4 appears again, this time in Verizon internal systems

Based on how quickly they ditched the Droid 2 for the Droid 2 Global, I can believe it.

I bet this will just be a Droid 3 with a LTE radio (& possibly a higher clocked processor), basically what people were upset that the Droid 3 wasn't to begin with.

I'm ready for this to come out and for them to discontinue the Droid 3. Why? Because I can order a phone from Verizon for my work, but I can only pick the Droid 3. If it's discontinued, maybe I can get the Droid 4 or the Droid RAZR.

So back in April there was a phone with the codename "jet"...

Well the Droid 4 is listed as XT894, Google that and and realize that it is a jet,

Obviously we're not getting quad-core, but it's highly probable the Razr and the D4 were the bullet and jet. And the Razr excluded the NFC chip, but on the DROID 4 I would like to have:
*HD screen (Y U NO HAVE HD MOTO!?)
*NFC (Moto earpieces have already, so why not their phones?)
*2nd Gen LTE (at least they have made micro sims)
*OMAP4660 (clocked at 1.5)
*Better camera lens, 2.2 (why does Japan already have 13mp, and the Nexus went back to 5? I only guess at lack of shutter lag)
*2mp "HD" front shooter
*Make Ninja-Blur as Widgets, instead of a skin ( I enjoy some of the tweaks Moto has incorporated)

And combine with the RAZR's thinness, Kevlar-back, Motocast, ACTV-sync, Smart battery features, and being water-resistant; I might be happy, lol. As for non-removable battery, bugs me a little. I've never worried about keeping a spare, I stream music at work, so normally my phone is in a dock or plugged up; but I have had to reset several times. But when you look at the pics, it says power+vol down should have the same effect. And there's always cntrl+alt+del.

Hey Moto! Anyone listening!? I'd wait another month if you could get this together on the D4 and not make me wait for th D5 :-)
