The Motorola Droid RAZR M available today from Verizon

The Motorola Droid RAZR M should be sitting on shelves at Verizon stores nationwide and available online in a few short hours. The 4.3-inch LTE device will cost you $99 -- that's with a new contract and a $50 mail-in rebate -- and features an edge-to-edge Super AMOLED Advance display.

The RAZR M may not be Verizon's new Droid flagship, that moniker will likely hang on the RAZR HD Maxx, but from the looks of things it's a pretty darn capable phone. Check out Anndrew's review to see what we mean. The RAZR M looks like it carries on the RAZR name rather well.

Anyone heading out (or heading to the mailbox) to grab one of these mid-sized monsters today? Holler in the comments, and be sure to hit up the Razr M forums and share impressions -- we like pictures!

  • This phone looks fantastic, especially for the price. My girlfriend will be getting this!
  • I'm tired of my HTC Thunderbolt. I've really tried to make it work. I've used:
    Thunderstick Genii
    Liquid Thunderbread
    InfectedROM Eternity
    Team BAMF Forever Cubed
    Team Vicious Bully Desensed
    ShiftAO5P Hack3D
...and now Team BAMF ICS leaked Plenty of those ROMs were stable enough, but you just can't get around the fact that the Thunderbolt just feels like a heavy, underpowered, battery muncher. ...and to get this leak to really shine I had to roll back to a specific radio combo so that the battery didn't drain like a mofo and Bluetooth would work. So...wait, that was a long story. Getting the Motorola Droid RAZR M today!
  • but is it an iPhone?
  • "I DONT CARE...I need the one with the bigger GBs and the Why-Phi's" Retiring the the Thunderbolt today. Buying outright to keep my unlimited data, but I bet Verizon a-holes will kick us all out of unlimited data <2 years anyway. Going to v-store now to check this Moto Vs. GS3 Vs. Gnex. I Was really hoping to hold out for a waterproof sony nexus, but it might be faster find a unicorn.
  • There are AOKP Unicorns running wild all over the place! A pink unicorn appears every time I boot my Gnex. And when my wife's new RAZR M arrives today, a pink unicorn might live in it as well.
  • Im in the market for a new phone. This is really intriguing considering the price and the specs. But yet I feel like waiting for the 2012 nexus or whatever you want to call it. Might also get the S3...not sure.
  • I ordered one of these; it should be here tomorrow. I bought it outright on eBay and will be replacing my iPhone 4. I tried an original Droid Razr a while back, but returned it since it had some issues (that I HOPE are worked out in this phone). My line upgrade is available in Dec, so this will give me a few months to try out an Android phone (again) and see which OS I want to have for my next 2-year cycle.
  • $550 Full retail. Hmm...Is it worth it to stay on unlimited?
  • I just checked one out at a corporate store. That is a pretty sweet form factor. Big Screen, very small footprint. If the battery life is good this is a great phone. (damn Bootloader)
  • If you're buying @ full price you can get the developer edition (unlocked bootloader) direct from Moto.
