Stream all your favorite channels with TCL's newest 55-inch 4K HDR Roku TV for $585

Update: For a limited time, you can grab a 55-inch 405 model of TCL's Roku TV for just $341.99 while supplies last. That's a savings of around $70 off its average price.

The TCL 55R617 55-inch 4K HDR Roku TV is down to $584.99 at Amazon while supplies last. Though Thrifter previously shared a one-day eBay deal offering this TV for as low as $552, this is otherwise the next best price we've seen for it. At Amazon, it's never been discounted below its regular price of $650 until today.

If you're looking for a bit more screen to enjoy your favorite movies and games on, you can also grab the 65-inch version of this TV on sale today for $899.99 at Amazon. It's temporarily out of stock, however you can still order it now to lock in this low price and have it shipped when next available. That model regularly sells for $1,000.

The TCL 6 series is the newest Roku TV on the market and also the best. CNET gave it 4 stars and called it "the best TV value we've ever reviewed." It's not that this is the greatest quality television or has the most advanced features. It's that what this TV says it does - it does very well. When the 6 series was first announced, Thrifter broke down what you can expect from them. Read more about that here.

  • This is the same TCL that makes the Key2 right? It's kind of funny you can buy a 55 inch TV for less than the Key2 I say that as someone who pre-ordered the Key2 as soon as it was available and I am eagerly waiting for the delivery to arrive
  • Is TCL the new crap electronics maker that replaced Vizio?
  • Their quality is surprisingly good for the price. They are a "value" brand.
  • Vizio isn't crap. but since you didn't know who TCL was, I figured you knew nothing about tv's anyway.
  • The link to the "last year" most is not correct. Last year's equivalent was the P605/607 not the 405. The 405 is not as good as the 605/607 and was always cheaper. That said, I've been extremely impressed by the 605 from Best Buy... Check for an honest review.
  • Ahh, thanks for the heads up about the 405. The update has been edited to reflect that.
  • How much is the 605 going for? I think my next TV will be a TCL Roku TV.
  • I bought this TV from Best Buy after gave it a 7.9 Mixed Usage rating. Definitely an awesome TV for the price.
