Another spot filled in the Desire lineup with nice hardware design and Sense 6
Building on its mid-range Desire brand, HTC today announced the LTE-equipped Desire 510 for a worldwide launch. Slotting in notably lower than the Desire 610 announced earlier this year but much higher than last year's Desire 500, the 510 is a 4.7-inch device with a fresh plastic design in either white or grey.
The Desire 510 pulls design notes from both the Desire 816 and 610, but harbors much lower-end specs to hit a more budget-friendly price point. The 4.7-inch display's resolution is just 480 x 854 (FWVGA), backed up by a Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage (SDcard expandable) and a simple 5MP camera — but thankfully that's powering Android 4.4 and Sense 6, the latest software available.

The big deals here are that this device is equipped with LTE support and enough horsepower to easily push around the software — two important aspects in this kind of device. It's even going to have a Dot View case available for it for a little extra flair.
HTC isn't spilling the beans on where the Desire 510 will land price-wise, but given the specs we're expecting it to be quite affordable. We do know that it'll be headed for a worldwide launch later this year, though, with releases in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
