Xperia X10 Mini Pro Successor Pictured and Spec'd

Pictures of an apparent successor to Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 Mini Pro have leaked out on Chinese forum IT168, along with some technical specs for the device.

Sony Ericsson has apparently packed a Qualcomm MSM7230 CPU and Adreno 205 GPU into the same small form factor as the original X10 Mini Pro. The new device is said to sport 384MB of RAM, a decent boost from the original's 128MB but still relatively anaemic compared to the 512MB+ found in most modern smartphones. No details of clock speeds were included, but the MSM7230 usually runs at 800MHz.

  • And will probably run Android 2.2 from the day it is introduced until the day it is pulled from the shelves.
  • As usual with SE hardware it seems solid. Nice looking keyboard. Hopefully they will overcome expectations for software updates, but I wouldn't count on it.
  • why do these manufacturers still think they have a chance to keep up when they bring out phones with 800 mhz clock speed, while there are already dual core processors out there (or nearly out there). if it was a low-end or a cheaper phone, it would be ok, but where i live the X10 costs as much as the desire hd, nearly as much as an iphone!
  • The X10 mini pro is half the price of X10 that you're talking about...this one is around 200-250EUR...
  • Why do these people keep making phones? They suck!! Do they have someones nephew in their employ and he keeps churning out shyte phones just to make someone happy? Give us a break se and lay down and die already!!
