Amazon has today dropped the price of its Fire tablets designed for children in 7-, 8- and 10-inch sizes. All of the deals equal the lowest prices we have seen to date, making it a great time to pick up a kid-friendly tablet for your young ones. The prices are matching a one-day sale at Best Buy so we don't expect they will stick around beyond today at Amazon either.
Entry-level
If you want a solid, entry-level tablet for your children to watch movies or play games on, the Fire 7 is an excellent choice. At $60, it's the same price as Black Friday when these were flying off the shelves, so you probably want to get your order in while you can.
$59.99 $99.99 $40 off
All-new
The 8-inch model includes the recently-updated Fire HD 8 tablet in a rugged case designed to protect it. It offers a little more screen real estate and you net the same $40 in savings.
$89.99 $129.99 $40 off
Big display
For the biggest-screen experience possible, go for the Fire HD 10 Kids Edition. It's currently $50 off which is as low as it went on Black Friday and a price we've only seen once since the holidays.
$149.99 $199.99 $50 off
The Fire 7 Kids Edition tablet is now just $59.99 — down from $99.99 — which equals an all-time low price we've seen just a few times before. The 8-inch version features the newly-updated Fire HD 8 tablet and is $40 off at $89.99. If you want the largest option, go for the $149.99 Fire HD 10 Kids Edition, down from $200.
Available in Blue, Pink or Yellow, each Kids Edition tablet is wrapped in a vibrant, child-friendly and rugged case to prevent the tablet from being damaged. In fact, Amazon is so confident in its ability to protect the device inside that they offer a 2-year 'worry-free guarantee' that allows you to return a damaged tablet and have it replaced for free. The tablets have access to tons of kid-friendly content thanks to a whole year's free subscription to Amazon FreeTime Unlimited worth $119. It gives you unrestricted access to thousands of kid-friendly books, movies, TV shows, educational apps, and games at no extra cost. They don't have much internal storage — 16GB or 32GB — so you'll want to add a microSD card to your purchase so that your kids don't run out of space.
